WakeMed isn’t the only premier athletic complex in Cary, the USA Baseball National Training Facility is less than ten miles from the Soccer Park! The facility is owned and operated by the Town of Cary, just as WakeMed. The complex features a 1,800-seat stadium, three side fields, full concession stand, and plenty of parking, all maintained at the highest standards.
Not only is there a country wide known baseball stadium, there is also a top of the line open recreation park at Middle Creek Park for anyone to go and exercise. The Town of Cary Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department has identified time at Middle Creek Park and Thomas Brooks Park for “open play” activities during the months of September, October, November and December. With ever increasing demand for athletic field space, the Town feels it is important to identify some hours for our patrons to enjoy our wonderful artificial turf fields. For those times at night, the field lights will be turned on so that the general public can get out and utilize these wonderful facilities!
